About Us

My name is Eric Fawcett, and this is the Painted Possession.

I am a basketball coach and consultant who is lucky to work with teams all over the world at multiple levels of the sport, though a bulk of that work is bringing European and international concepts to some of the best coaches in America.

The Painted Possession is about bringing these concepts, conversations, and ideas to you. For a more in-depth introduction of the site, I’d suggest reading this introduction article: https://www.thepaintedpossession.com/p/the-painted-possession-introduction

The best way to navigate this site is with tags as well as the search bar. There is a search bar located in the top left of the main screen, as well as in the “archive” tab where you can search for specific terms and play types for what you’re looking for. You can also navigate through “tags,” available at the bottom of each post or in the drop down menu at the top.

I want this to be a tool that both brings you the actions you didn’t know you needed, but also is a searchable database that can get you what you need when you need it.

As a reminder, new posts are added every Monday and Friday, with new written pieces coming every two weeks on Wednesdays. It was important to me not to overload you with content–if I post something, it is carefully curated, and everything I post is something that I have used with a client that has brought them success.

I can be contacted on X at @EricFawcett_ or at [email protected]
